Andrew approached us at the beginning of the year with a straightforward offer to walk us through a case study of what his marketing team did for Group 1 Nissan. The results he shared were most certainly way above what we had previously experienced and I appreciated his results orientated approach to business. Medical Aid Comparisons
We took the www.medicalaidcomparisons.co.za site on in July 2008. At that point we were introduced to Andrew Foye of WSI Internet Marketing, who was responsible for the site’s original design and the internet marketing. Having previously tried a number of marketing strategies, including newspapers, magazines, the yellow pages, etc. – all with negligible results, we were curious to know what was going on and why this site in particular was working so well. Once Andrew had explained in simple terms that each page of the site had been carefully chosen to maximise the number of people that were searching for specific phrases related to our industry, it became a lot clearer why the site currently attracts more than 15,000 visitors a month, and provides a constant source of of relevant leads for our company. Each month we get a detailed report, showing exactly the number of quotes requested, number of enquiries and the number of medical aid application forms downloaded. The application form data is split up on a per company basis and this of course gives us considerable insight into the medical aid industry in South Africa. Recently, Andrew also identified a new market that the site could help us target. He setup a strategy to optimise the site for this phrase and we are very satisfied because it worked – our site is now in the top 3 positions on google.co.za for the desired phrase – we look forward to new business.
The success of this first site has also prompted us to start a second site, this time focussing on the life insurance industry. WSI was of course our preferred supplier for both the development of the website and the internet marketing. We look forward to launching this site shortly.
